The European Commission recognises the need for ICT innovation to avoid missing the economic growth opportunities of the Future Internet and is offering sponsorship through its Horizon 2020 initiative. This is the biggest European Union research and innovation programme ever, with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years. Eventsys has applied for this funding.
